Complex space, rather than a "space of position" that most naturally represents rotation, vibration, waves, and quantum states, is a "space of vibrational states."
Complex number form | ||
name | formula | coefficient |
Orthogonal form | z = a + ib | Real part a=ℜ(z), imaginary part b=ℑ(z) |
z = r(cosθ + isinθ) | Absolute value r = |z|, argument θ = arg(z)
Exponential function format | z=reiθ
z=r∠θ | ||
A tool to simplify complex phenomena into a "simple form".
It looks like it's infinite, though.
The curved surface is closed.
Light is circulating.
There are no straight lines.
No center
This kind of structure creates the illusion in the human brain that "there is no exit."
It may seem like a labyrinth full of holes, but in reality it's a "network of infinite coordinates."
